Lions International:
LI is one of the world's largest service organizations, bringing together more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries and geographic areas to address some of humanity's greatest challenges. Guided by the motto "We Serve," Lions empower volunteers to create lasting change through local action and global impact. There are two core components of Lions International:
Lions Clubs International (LCI):
LCI is the membership organization that connects volunteers through more than 49,000 clubs worldwide. Local Lions Clubs identify the unique needs of their communities and develop meaningful service projects that address vision, hunger, diabetes, childhood cancer, the environment, disaster relief, and youth development, while fostering leadership and fellowship.

Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF):
LCIF is the charitable arm of Lions International, providing grants and financial resources that empower Lions to expand their impact. Through the generosity of donors worldwide, LCIF supports humanitarian initiatives, disaster response, vision programs, youth services, and other life-changing projects that improve lives across the globe.
Together, LCI and LCIF demonstrate the power of service and philanthropy working hand in hand to build healthier, stronger, and more compassionate communities around the world.

- One club is looking at a vision grant to provide needed equipment to a local hospital.
- One club is looking to provide Diabetes eye screening equipment to a free clinic.
- A possible non-matching Lions Quest Grant for a pilot program in Boys and Girls Clubs.
- Will host the 2nd Annual Virtual Duck Race at our Lions State Convention in Harrisonburg.
We will continue to support LCIF with club and individual donations to support local and global causes 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Every day, with our help, we are making someone’s life a little easier. We help, we wipe tears, we bring back little rays of hope when times are tough. We may never hear them say thank you, but rest assured we are making a local and global impact.

LOVF was founded in 1972 to assist Virginia Lions Clubs in serving their communities.
MD-24:
Virginia is divided into three Districts. Together, they are called Multiple District 24. In addition to D24-L, there is D24-C and D24-I.
