Aquia Harbour Host -- It's that time of year again! The club is gearing up for the NFL Season and our 2026/2027 Football Mania Game.
Tickets are $25 each.
Game cards contain 3 random teams in each of the 18 weeks of the pro football season (you get 3 new teams each week). To play the game, participants simply add up the points scored by their 3 teams. Every week, the 15 highest scoring game cards and the 3 lowest scoring game cards all win prizes. In addition, two grand prizes are awarded at the end of the season. Top prize each week is $400!

The Waynesboro Lions Club welcomed their newest member, Lion Jim Wood, at his oath ceremony on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Lion Jim is the owner of Big Ridge Guns and Archery in downtown Waynesboro, current City Councilman and former Vice Mayor for the City of Waynesboro, Chairman of the Waynesboro Republican Committee, Vice Chair of the Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro Metropolitan Planning Organization, owner and Chief Instructor for Double A Tactical, in addition to membership in several civic organizations. Our club is very pleased that Lion Jim has added the Waynesboro Lions Club responsibilities to his extensive list of commitments. Lion Jim, left, is pictured with Club President Pete Marks.

Jovelyn Jugalbot (the sister of a club member) from the Philippines, created this video to thank the Springfield Global Club for their support in the relief efforts after Typhoon Tino. Jovelyn and her crew organized the relief efforts and the club financed the project. Springfield Global Lions also supported those affected by the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in 2025 in Bogo City Cebu.
