This year, during their club visits, the DG and his team will present Spark Plug Awards, selected by the clubs and given to Lions for new and innovative ideas.

BURKE Lion Steve Pawlow — BURKE -- Lion Steve Pawlow, pictured with Club President Don Bradley, for his support to local health fair programs and partnering with the Korean community.

Dolores Spencer — MOUNT VERNON EVENING -- Lion Dolores Spencer for her support to Koinonia Community Services and the back-to-school programs providing supplies to young students.

Lion Curtis Sorensen — REMINGTON -- Lion Curtis Sorensen for his outstanding service helping organize the highly successful Vintage Car Show and faithfully maintaining the club house and grounds. Lion President Tracy Yates accepted the award on his behalf.

MIDDLEBURG Lion Ben Barton — MIDDLEBURG - Lion Ben Barton, Club President, for supporting the American Legion Boys and Girls State Leadership Programs.

Lion Chinnah Orendain — SPRINGFIELD GLOBAL -- Lion Chinnah Orendain for her outstanding leadership in coordinating donations for a medical facility in the Philippines.

Brandi Bowles — AQUIA HARBOUR HOST -- Lion Brandi Bowles for her fundraising skill with their “Dining in the Dark” Event.

Rachel Edmonds — STAFFORD COUNTY -- Lion Rachel Edmonds for her creative and innovative service ideas.

Lion Val Smith — STAUNTON -- Lion Val Smith for outstanding leadership in coordinating a successful toy drive in partnership with the Salvation Army.
