Zones group clubs geographically to assist them in working together.
District 24-L is comprised of fourteen zones, divided into 5 regions.
Definitions:
Region -- a grouping of several zones within a district overseen by a Region Chair annually appointed by the District Governor. In District 24-L, the Region Chairs serve as members of the District Global Extension Team (GET).
Zone -- a grouping of typically four to eight clubs, organized within the district and overseen by a Zone Chair annually appointed by the District Governor. The Zone Chair's primary responsibility is to support the development and advancement of the clubs within their zone, as well as to promote the overall purpose of the association.
