Location:
District 24-L is one of three Lions Districts within Multiple District 24 in the Commonwealth of Virgina. We serve the cities within or surrounded by the following Virginia Counties: Albemarle, Alleghany, Arlington, Augusta, Bath, Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Frederick, Greene, Highland, King George, Loudoun, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, Page, Prince William, Rappahannock, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Warren, Westmoreland, including all future Independent Cities created from within these counties, and the Independent Cities of Alexandria, Buena Vista, Charlottesville, Covington, Fairfax City, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Manassas, Manassas Park, Staunton, Waynesboro, and Winchester

Lions International Awards:
- Presidential Certificate of Appreciation is the fourth highest award in Lions. The International President delegates the authority to present this award to International and Past International Directors.
- Presidential Leadership Medal is the third highest award in Lions. Awarded to about 1,500 Lions each year. The recipient demonstrates significant contributions to the district and multiple district in developing and demonstrating leadership.
- Presidential Medal is the second highest award in Lions. Awarded to about 800 Lions annually. Demonstrates significant contributions to the district and multiple district.
- Ambassador of Good Will is the highest award in Lions. Awarded to about 20 Lions annually. Represents a lifetime of service.

Leadership: District 24L 5-Star Leadership Patch – for clubs where all five officers (President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership, and Service) complete officer training (links on our website).

Service: District 24L Service Week Participation Award Patch – for clubs that participate in the three Global Service Weeks: Mental Health, Hunger, and Environment.

Membership: Recognition and prizes as part of the Each One Bring One contest—club patches, top-club honors (small & large), recognition for the member who sponsors the most new Lions, and even a gift certificate drawing for sponsors.

Visitation: Two levels this year—12 Club Visits and 100% Visitation (all active club members make at least one visit).
