“Fuel the Flame of Hope” is the theme for the 2025 annual “TORCH RUN” for Special Olympics. Club members’ support includes Lions Judy & Russ Holt, Dave & Andria Post, Bob & Linda Kahn, Jim Harding & Donna Bidlack. Ready to assist the many runners on Route 234 on that early morning trek. We will be offering water bottles to ensure hydration. This will be our second year supporting Virginia's law en-forcement community as ‘The Torch” symbolizes the begin-ning of the Special Olympics Games in Richmond, Va. The Torch is lit in Arlington and carried by police officers and Special Olympians throughout the event.
